Server restart for provider maintenance
Our hosting provider restarted the physical machine our server runs on for planned maintenance. The server shut down cleanly at 11:26 and was back at 11:37 (Central European Summer Time), so everything running on it was offline for about eleven minutes: the control panel, Discord bots and customers' websites. The SnowServers website itself is hosted elsewhere and stayed up. Bots and websites started again on their own. No data was lost. The restart also applied a pending kernel update.

Network drops at our provider
While services were being moved onto the new server, it lost its connection to the internet several times over about two hours. The server itself kept running; the fault was in the provider's network, where the gateway stopped routing traffic. No data was lost. A monitor now checks the connection every minute, so any repeat is timed and reported straight away.
